Lemon Garlic Salmon with Asparagus (test)

Ingredients

  • 2 item salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 item garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 item lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear salmon, skin-side down if applicable, for 3 to 4 minutes; flip and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Add asparagus to the pan and cook until bright green, 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Stir in garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and butter; toss to coat.
  6. Finish with parsley and serve with the pan juices.
